We look at a map of the world. North America has wide areas of land. An animal moves through a forest. Birds fly over it in the air. Things change as we travel around and far away.
Teacher-supported practice text. An adult reads untaught words; learners read taught targets and discuss the meaning. This is not a controlled decodable passage.
