Classroom project crowdfunding
DonorsChoose
Eligible public-school teachers can invite donors to support a classroom project, including qualifying digital resources.
Who can apply?
- Full-time teacher at an eligible public school, charter school, district-run Pre-K or Head Start center.
- Private schools, homeschools, libraries and independent afterschool programs are excluded.
What could it support?
Digital subscriptions have ordering rules. Ask DonorsChoose whether Glow can be sourced before submitting a project.
Ask the funder to confirm Glow, the number of learners, the license period and the purchasing method before buying. A listed expense category does not by itself approve a specific product.
Who receives your request?
DonorsChoose · project review team, followed by public donors
The eligible teacher creates a classroom project in DonorsChoose. It reviews the project and handles ordering after funding.
How to submit
- Create or sign in to your teacher account and identify the eligible school.
- Confirm that DonorsChoose can source the Glow subscription before adding it. Use its available vendors and digital-resource ordering process.
- Adapt the public project description, select the resources and review the platform’s full budget. Submit for review and save the project link.

For fully funded projects, most digital-resource vendors send activation instructions to the teacher’s DonorsChoose account email within two weeks of project confirmation. This page explains access after funding; it does not list Glow as an available resource. Ask DonorsChoose to confirm the ordering route before including a Glow subscription.
