Student Success Grants
The NEA Foundation
Help public-school educators design projects that build academic understanding, problem-solving and meaningful learning experiences.
Who can apply?
- Lead applicant must be an eligible public-school educator or education support professional and an active NEA member.
- Current grantees cannot hold a concurrent Foundation award.
What could it support?
Propose a complete instructional project; confirm whether the intended software expense fits the current guidance.
Ask the funder to confirm Glow, the number of learners, the license period and the purchasing method before buying. A listed expense category does not by itself approve a specific product.
Who receives your request?
The NEA Foundation · Grants to Educators team
An eligible NEA member submits through Fluxx. The published application cycle has closed. Fluxx says registration will reopen in December; watch for the separate application dates.
How to submit
- Create a Fluxx account and choose “I am applying for the Grants to Educators” as the registration purpose. Enter workplace and NEA membership details.
- Allow up to three business days for membership verification. After approval, open the Student Success application for the available cycle.
- Adapt the draft to the application questions, enter your project budget and review the submission. Save the portal confirmation.

Eligible public-school educators and support professionals with active NEA membership can request up to $5,000 for a 12-month learning project. Most funding must support student materials or experiences; electronics-only proposals are excluded. The posted September 15, 2026 deadline has passed. Watch for the next cycle and allow up to three business days for Fluxx registration approval.
